Materials should be used within two hours of mixing.  Wire mesh or expanded metal reinforcement can be incorporated in the applied layer where extra integrity is required.  Self-setting cements do not require the application of heat source to induce setting. Setting time is normally 24-36 hours and drying time depends on ambient temperature and humidity. Please note that rubber or PVC gloves should be worn by all applicators, especially during hand mixing.
