Description

The SolarRoll PE 55 is a UV Curing GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) Laminate containing high-grade Isophthalic polyester resins, fillers and glass reinforcements that have been formulated to ensure terrific protection against corrosion, abrasion, impact and aggressive climatic environments. SolarRoll PE 55 is suitable to be used on an extensive variety of substrates consisting of steel, concrete, GRP, FRP, PVC glass and wood. The product is supplied on rolls and in its uncured state is a soft, malleable, easy to use material ready for application.

The material may be easily cut to any shape using knives or scissors. Once fully cured SolarRoll PE 55 also provides quality fire retardancy and low smoke emissions if exposed to flame. SolarRoll PE 55 is especially recommended to be used as protection to all forms of insulation and also as a non-metallic cladding product. Extensive testing has been executed to verify conformance to offshore Fire and Smoke regulations. The ability to provide a user friendly, one component, rapid curing, seamless on-site applications have attracted many clients to use the SolarTech UV Curing technology.
